How I Determine My Fees:
How do you want to remember your day? How do you want to feel? How do you want your guests to remember your priceless, once-in-a-lifetime moment?
My fees are based upon many variables, such as the time required to write your personalized, one-of-a-kind ceremony (usually 10 – 15 hours); the complexity of the ceremony you desire, the location of your event and the travel time required; and the number of people who will be involved. Once we speak on the phone and you tell me what you are planning, I will quote you a price.
To give you an idea of the range of my offerings, here are some examples:
Simple Ceremony:
You don’t need a customized ceremony, you just want to get married! I will arrive at your location of choice (within the Triangle area of NC), and perform a short but meaningful marriage ceremony and file your license and paperwork with the county of origin.
Simply Elegant
You don’t need a custom ceremony because you’ve picked your readings, written your vows, selected the music, perhaps chosen a ritual, or written your love story. Now you want them put together into a beautiful ceremony that I lead. I’ll make sure that everything flows together into a simple yet elegant ceremony, and present it on the day and time of your choice.
Signature Ceremony (What I’ve been trained to do and what most people want)
You want a ceremony that is customized for YOU! I will create and design your ceremony reflecting your personalities, traditions and beliefs. I will incorporate everything that is important to you by interviewing you and your partner thoroughly before writing your Love Story. You can pick from my vow suggestions or I’ll help you write your own. I’ll offer you expressive readings, music, rituals and structures from which to choose. I include a rehearsal to ensure that everything goes perfectly on your big day. We will continue to refine the ceremony with phone calls and e-mails until you think that it is the perfect expression of you and your love for each other.
This ceremony is an individually created, beautifully expressed experience designed to intimately connect you to all who have gathered with you to celebrate this day. It will be one of the most meaningful, memorable, loving and compelling ceremonies you and your guests have ever attended or imagined.
